Can, from the brewery, courtesy of microakes. Opaque, kind of a peach juice colour. Very thin head. On the nose, this has a fair bit of lychee, stone fruit and florals, with a touch of alcohol. On the palate, I find this quite well balanced for a hazy DIPA. True, the malts are still a bit lacking, muddled, but the body is big enough, and the hops are very bright. The alcohol kick in the finish dries it out quite nicely, too. I only had one can, but if I can find more I might just do that. S&O may not get the hype for their IPAs.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a cloudy orangey yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out pungently dank hops, with some pine, resins, and bready malt. Flavour is certainly dank, with intensely dank, piney hops, bordering on the extreme pot-like character, with a bit of grass, and a light malt backbone. Mouthfeel is rather thick and yeast, detracting a bit. Good, but a bit flawed.

Murky light orange body and good foam. Candy pineapple sweetness on the nose, plenty of sweet hops. Flavour is more candy, oily hop bitterness, chewy sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden. Not bad, a little cloying.

Big and boozy citrus. Cloudy yellow with a decent white. Bright citrus, touch of peel and booze.

Draught at the brewery
Murky blond colour, small compact head. The hop is good, expressive, juicy, strong aroma, white strong flavour too; the mouthfeel is too chalky, leading to some astringency in the finish, that's what I would improve.
Not the top one in the province, but honestly a very good result.
