Cola and dark sugars. Deep dark brown with a frothy beige head. Cola, dirty esters and dark sugars. Not my thing.

Sweet-tart, citrusty. Not bad. Some dark sour elements but more complexity and balance than I expected.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out intense, harsh rum upfront, with Belgian yeast, and some burnt caramel further back. Flavour is near-monolithic on the run barrels upfront, followed by semi-tart dark fruits, some Belgian yeast, and burnt caramel. An interesting concoction that has a few things to complain about, but is still intriguing despite its lack of coordination. Fun experiment that I couldn't drink more than a few ounces of.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour. Aroma of cola, of soap, light mint. The base beer doesn't strike with any quality, it's quite thin and dry; there is some cola flavour, some mint, some spirit that could be the rum; very light chocolate; light sour note.
Ok beer, but I would't be able to drink more than 4oz.
I was impressed by the first Dageraad beers, the only good Belgian Ales in BC; but recently it's just a chain of random un-creative, un-beery mixes and experiments.
