This American style lager was brewed with drinkability in mind. We kept the grain profile simple and light using only quality Pilsner Malt and flaked rice. We fermented this beer with a foraged lager strain from our friends at Bootleg Biology and allowed for an extensive lagering time. Finally, Wai-iti hops from New Zealand were utilized in the whirlpool to add a slight hint of fruitiness to the finish.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Clean cereal malt, feint herbal hops. Okay.

On tap at Twin Sails, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grass, some herbal notes, and cereal malts. Flavour is bright and grassy, with cereal grains, biscuity malt and grass. Bright and refreshing, with an herbal finish. Decent.

Taster. Appearance: hazy straw with a white head. Aroma: crispy malts, a bit smoky. Taste: along the same lines, quite malty, low to moderate sweet. Overall: good lager.

Soft clear yellow body and tiny head, middling sweet lager hops on the nose. Flavour is plenty of soft lager notes. Hits the mark but is far from interesting.

Bright and straw coloured. Thin head. Clean bland pale, decent malt structure, just a touch doughy, but not much hop. Good for what it is.

Draught at the brewery
Pale blond colour. The aroma is very mild, the body is not too weak, thanks to some minimal residual sweetness, but there is very little to say about malt or hops, at least it doesn't taste of corn or cabbage.
Clean but too simple.
