Good clear gold body and okay foam, nice bright hops on the nose witb very soft pine hints. Flavour is heavy pine, chewy malt. Lingering bitterness. Round pine is good but I'm not huge on the bitter hop notes. Otherwise still made well.

Malty and sweet. Clear gold with a decent white head. Caramel malts and a long finish. Sweet and old school.

Bottle. Deep gold colour, thin bubbly head. The aroma has a mellow simcoe character with sweet pale malts, with delicate fruitiness from the yeast. On the palate, this has light to moderate bitterness, balanced by a pale malt presence that borders on heavy. There’s a hit of alcohol in there, too. The hops maybe aren’t as bright as could be, but this is a pretty good beer, well-balanced and it fits an interesting gap being a stronger golden ale that’s not hoppy enough to be a blond IPA.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Golden color, hazy, small compact head. Aroma with delicate esters, delicate malt. Dry mouthfeel, but not weak, it has some biscuity malts, herbaceous hops, and prominent bitterness.
Clean, well constructed, balanced.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt, light piney hops and crisp crackery notes. Flavour is crisp and fairly hoppy, with citrus hops and very punchy crisp crackery malt. Well-constructed, with all the different elements working well together. Solid.
