Nice sweet coffee notes. Clear copper with a small white head. Coffee, light bitterness and some caramel.

On tap at 33 Experiment, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy coffee upfront, with a light herbal note underneath. Flavour follows as expected, with a moderately sweetened, earthy coffee character upfront, followed by toasted caramel, and bready notes. Decent for a coffee beer - a maibock? I'd never have guessed. Alright.

Dark gold-amber colour, just a thin head. Lots of coffee on the nose. On the palate, all coffee, nutty and lightly roasty. A bit of harshness to it like supermarket beans. The base has good body and seems balanced but definitely he treatment is a bit over the top and doesn’t necessarily add value to the maibock.

Semi clearish copper brown body and little foam on top. Smells like bad coffee served out of a styrofoam cup on a tuesday morning as you're starting your work as a temp order picker at a nameless warehouse in Richmond. Flavour is heavy malts on the back end with ground stale coffee dominating the front end. Like the other order pickers knew you were the new guy and dumped the grounds into your puny styrofoam cup of coffee. Infuriated, you throw it at them and storm out, then roar east down the east-west connector in your '86 Camaro.

Draught at the brewery
Beautiful colour, hazy, amber, with creamy head. Excellent base beer, biscuity malts, full bodied, smooth, fairly sweet, with delicate fruity esters; in top of this base the coffee seems fitting well, so I'm drinking a liquid coffee cookie, with medium burnt feeling in the finish, and correct bitterness.
Very good.
