Our rotating smoothie sour, Funk Juice is brewed with oats, raw wheat, and lactose milk sugar. After fermenting warm with our house kveik culture, Funk Juice Volume 6 was blended with 350lbs of fresh BC berry puree - equal amounts of blueberry, marion blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry.

Growler from the brewery (thx, Alex!) shared at Teekay. Appearance: opaque purple with a weak white head. Aroma: raspberries, blueberries, other berries, very nice. Taste: Similar, very berry, low sourness. Overall: very refreshing and nice.

Purple colour; compared to the last Funk Juice, it's a bit less chewy; pure berry puree, with just a touch of sugar; moderately sour; thankfully, no vegetable bitterness or tannins.
Not much of a beer, but its an excellent smoothie.
