Decent west coast IPA, and good job for brassneck. Golden pour, some pine. Bitter end. A little marmalade that I could do without. Some bitter root. Can.

Apricot and coconut. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Coconut and orange peel with some nice bitterness. A bit Perfumy.

Taster shared with Alex on May 2nd. Appearance: a bit hazy pale golden with a white. Aroma: hoppy, crispy, some malt notes. Taste: similar. Overall: pretty good.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle citrus hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is very similar, with gentle hops and soft cereal malt. No nonsense hoppy beer, but pretty boring.

Bright gold colour. Thin head. Has a nice floral, fruity aroma. Slight bit of malt sweetness in there as well. The malts are good in this beer. The hop is more herbal on the palate...balanced but of course all the dry hops are just a tease. It is more of a sweeter amber on the palate, after an APA aroma. So a pretty good beer, but definitely a let down as the brightness on the nose fades to a blander beer on the palate.

Draught at The Magnet, Vancouver
Hazy dark blond colour. Dry, a bit bready, it seems to have a mild Brett character, light manure aroma, herbaceous hips, robust bitterness.
Good modern pale ale.
