Last of their 12-pack of mixed beer, and pretty happy so far with this brewery. Slightly unfiltered with very tiny particles. Golden colour with an orange hue. Beautiful big fluffy, kind of creamy warm, light-beige head with good retention and full thick lacing patches. The caramel malts appear in the nose at first pour, but not too sweet, and well balanced with other cereal malts. The hops come in to finalize things. Hoppy, bitterness in the taste. Malty base with some decent grassiness. Smooth, silky mouthfeel with a decent dry finish. A very nice old-school IPA that completes my tastings from this Calgary brewery. And a very nice experience it was.

Old school very firmly bittered but not astringent ipa. Fairly well balanced by the body, not a lot of late hops. Bitter forwards. Sk LB

Orange and peel notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter orange and some peel with a bitter finish. Far too bitter.
