Back again, we had Matt Beere of Beere Brewing down for another collaboration. This time we brewed an American wheat ale and added fresh pomelo, grapefruit and lemon. Pomelos are one of the ancestral citrus species that many citrus fruits are derived from, and have a thick rind and light acidity. We then added in a healthy dry hop to add layers to the citrus aroma. Pomelocello has delicate floral notes, complex citrus aromas and a refreshing finish.

Perfumy citrus. Cloudy gold wyellow with a decent white head. Perfumy citrus with a light herbal note. Very perfumy.

Very light, a bit off in the fermentation, and not much pomelo, if any. Big meh.

On tap at Brewhall, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lemon dish cleaner, with gentle lacto buried. Flavour is very unpleasant, with lots of lemon cleaner product. This is really terrible. Cannot drink this.
