Bottled. Nose of lime, funk, light mango, hibiscus, quite herbal. Deep orange color, hazy, with lace. Tart, clean flavor, light and citrusy. Hibiscus. Crisp, tart and funky with nice lime. Great.

Bottle - Tart lemon and lime with an herbal note and tropical fruit. Clear orange pink with a decent white head. Citrus rind, tart and sour with a bit of funky yeast and a pepper finish. A bit juice like but a nice peppery finish.

750ml bottle. Hazy, pinkish, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting and lacing, pinkish off-white head. Moderate, relatively "clean" bretty aroma, fruity hints of lime and hibiscus. Taste is slightly dry, minimally tart, bretty, notes of the lime and hibiscus ingredients. Nice, sober, engineer’d (more culture than nature, concerning yeast and everything else).

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Firestone Walker Tasting. Procured @ De Hopduvel. Pale hibiscus, pink appearance, almost no head. Nose is watery grapefruit, watery hibiscus, flower, light lime, weak brett, watered down lime. Taste is watery grapefruit juice, lime, watery hibiscus, faint brett,.. Watery body like diluted grapefruit juice. Weak, weak,… this is reminiscent of a radler. Hill Farmstead is the Fantôme of USA & I do not mean that in a positive way. These guys reputation baffles me.

19/X/14 - 75cl bottle @ Beuk's postponed Firestone Walker and other nice beers allowed as well tasting (Brussels) - BB: n/a, batch I, NOV 2013 (2014-1226) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the bottle!
Cloudy grapefruit kind of pink coloured beer, aery white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: dirty, veal roast (or cooked veal), pretty off, some grapefruit. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: weird, sourish, hibiscus tea, little bitter, fruity touch, grapefruit bitterness. Aftertaste: bit metallic, banana peel, grapefruit skin, lemon rind, weird stuff, tea. Nope, nope, nope... And stop calling it a saison if you dump all sorts of weird stuff in it. This should be under vegetable/spice or fruit beer, if you ask me.
