Photographer Margaret Bourke-White once said magic hour is “a kind of golden hour one remembers for a lifetime… everything was touched with magic.” With this beer we’ve captured that moment and put it in your hand. Although Magic Hour might be fleeting, this Gose-style ale is something you can bask in any time of day.

On tap at Vancouver Island, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral grapefruit notes, lacto and gentle salt. Flavour is along the same lines, with saline notes, gentle grapefruit, and lacto. Not a well-dialed in gose. It's alright.

Can from Legacy. Dull tan, no head. Just a slight haze, so honestly this does not look appetizing. There's definitely a sweaty yeast character on the nose, with a light grapefruit accent. Light and a bit yeasty, maybe wheaty. Definitely salty, with a light grapefruit. The overt sweaty character is not appetizing, but that's the yeast. The grapefruit needs to be punchier, and the base beer cleaner.
