Bright, thin head, light amber, overripe...meh...chewy too...old school amber IPA with Comet? Ok, I mean, if that's a good idea.

On tap at Swans, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is very malty and sweet, with some syrupy notes and old hops. Flavour is unpleasant, with old, earthy hops, and lots of sweet, bready malt. The hops are dialed in poorly, even for an old school IPA. Just not good.

Lots of caramel and light hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Dry and bitter with caramel and a long bitter finish.

The aroma is chewy sweet candy hops. Has an okay foam on orangey copper translucent body. Flavour is good hoppiness, some malts, but very tart and sharp. Mouthfeel is full enough with good oiliness. This is not a good IPA but vaguely drinkable.
