Very nice rhubarb lambic. Rhubarb is quite subdued but adds a lovely touch. Not overly sour. First time finding Cantillon on tap!

From tap at Bierproeflokaal In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, on the way to Zanzibar 22.10.21. Clear golden. Diminishing white head. Superb lambic aroma and taste. Complex, and the touch of rhubarb is very subtle. Very quaffable.

Pours light hazy golden and a white head with hardly any retention. Aroma's: bretty, sour, woody. Retronasal it's sour, fruity. Flavour is sour. Maybe a hint of rhubarb and sweetness. Light bodied.

2021 vintage. Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Bruxelles, Belgium. Offered by the guys here. Pours light amber, medium transparent, with very fine white foam. Aroma is strong, intense of wild yeasts, fruity, citrus too. Body is average, with moderate carbonation and good astringency. Taste is markedly acidic/sour. Final is on the short side.

Rhubarb, malt, horse blanket, and grass aroma - glorious. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate white head. Mildly sweet rhubarb, malt, moderate sour vinegar and Brett, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Excellent body and balance. Great.

17/6/21. Time for some lighter relief, and for the basket. Lovely funk, lightly sour, dry, and with loads of wood. Never much of a rhubarb fan, but it works nicely with the dry and sour lambic. Bright, cleansing and tasty.

Thanks Alex! It’s tasty. Smells a little of diaper and sour milk but the rhubarb overpowers together with the sour grains. Very tasty.
