Tasting at Erik's
Dark brown colour. Roasted malt aroma, even some fire. Good body, moderately sweet, strong roasted malts, cookies.
Not sure it's a Porter, but it's tasty.

Bottle. Dark brown. Fairly chocolatey on the nose, Thin. OK chocolate, Needs more sugars to balance this out. Not much bitterness. It doesn't come together much here.

On tap at Trading Post Eatery - Abbotsford, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, with a noticeable English maltiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt and English bready malt. Pretty authentic, with a very malty finish. Solid.

On tap at the brewery. The aroma is soft barley with what seems like mellow cinnamon floating aroma. Has a muddy dark brown body with a tiny bit of head. Flavour is bright and sharp barley, chunky pumpernickel and coffee hints. Dry finish. It's a nice drinkable porter, good crispness.
