Can sourced from Kihoskh, shared in Hammel with the in-laws - pours a hazy golden orange with a white head. Vibrant fruity with some nice fruity notes of grapefruit and tangerine, some pine needles, light yeasty undertones, medium body, sweet intro into a hoppy drying finish. Very nice.

Interesting. Beer label says double brute IPA but it's not that dry which for me is better cuz I'm not a brute IPA fan. Anyway aromas are resin mushroomy musty Hops and pale malt. Flavors are like nose bittersweet with good body and a decent finish.

From the Jeff Bezos Whole Foods in Gowanus: pours slightly hazy but very bright with a white head. Aroma is super juicy, tropical fruits. Taste is like a hybrid of a brut with a classic juicy West Coast IPA. Taste is somewhat bitter. Drfinitely sweeter than I expect from a brut. Definitely has bruty characteristics. Good and easy to drink.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is pretty much all oranges. Not much else. Flavor is is more of the bitter orange peel I got in the aroma. Finish is super dry and there is little to no aftertaste. Super drinkable but kind of a one trick pony with the orange flavor and not much else beyond that.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a hazy golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tart, citric and perfumey with sugar and ribbon candy. The flavor was tart with tropical fruit, sugar, perfume, kool aid, more sugar and lactose. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/24/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an awesome imperial brut IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink for the ABV with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Feels like a lot of Mosaic/Citra. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice pale/wheat malt backbone, and minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Well attenuated for the ABV as expected.
