Brilliant choice! We designed our blackberry sour to be deliciously approachable with the addition of BC blackberries to the fermentation. The result is a sour with just the right level of pucker, balanced by a medium body with berry notes that follow closely behind.

Poured from the tap. Murky orange brown with minimal white head. Pith and veg with very mild blackberry tartness. Disappointing.

On tap at Category 12, pours a murky, opaque dark amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is very pithy, with lots of tart blackberry and a little lacto. Flavour is very pithy and vegetal, with herbal notes, tart notes, and lacto. Too vegetal and pithy. Messy, uncoordinated beer. Not good.

Very earthy with a bit of berry. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Earthy and muddy with a light tartness.
