On tap at the brewery. Pours dark purple. Blueberry, funk, quite sour, red wine vinegar, cherry. Medium body. Decent.

Nice ripe berry notes. Deep purple with a nice pink head. Nice soft beer with a balanced berries.

375 ml Bottle. Bottled: August 2018. Deep purple, near black color. Aroma shows shows bolder blueberries with some mild funk. The funk and sourness is nearly balanced by the berries. As it warms, lactic acid starts to stack. Causing acid reflux. Still pretty nice. Like it better slightly more chilled.

Lightly hazy with a great, dark blueberry-violet color with deep burgundy tints. Violet head recedes steadily to a ring.
Soft, floral, lightly nutty/tannic blueberry notes grace the nose. Bit of light, honey-like malt joins them and it's not overly acidic, with gentle acetic and moderate Brett character. Not hugely aromatic, but earthy or leathery with subtle spice and seedy pepper. Very blueberry-forward.
In mouth it's big on the blueberry, as well. Light funk below it, with a dusty, earthy, almost tea-like character. Light mineral, chalk and gaining some malt sweetness, with a supple texture throughout and low but engaging carbonation. Tons of floral, spicy Brett mixes in, complementing the blueberry nicely, while it's not particularly tart and definitely not sour, being very light on the lactic character. Just a touch of dull tannin on the end with tons of peppery, floral, spicy blueberry skin lingering. Easygoing.
