Zenith Lake is our 2019 Hopwired collaboration beer with Mischief Coffee. Additions of Columbian Narino region beans were added in the kettle and steeped as a cold brew in fermentation. A lightly roasted coffee that adds fruit, tang and earth to a rich base of spicy Rye, bready Munich, a touch of Chocolate malt and creamy Madegascar Bourbon Vanilla. We bottle conditioned a very limited amount for this special occasion.

Bottle from High Point, Vancouver
Gorgeous colour, dark red-amber, generous beige head. Moderate coffee aroma, malt, caramel. Good strength, moderately sweet, some caramel and burnt sugar flavour, light coffee and cookies, low bitterness.
Clean but not too complex.

Big coffee roast and some toffee. Deep red with a nice beige head. Sweet cocoa and coffee notes. Not bad but a bit simple.

Light brown. Hazy, with a thin head. Sweet...quite sweet. Thick and lactosey, with just a touch of coffee. I actually like it, but it's packaged as a bomber and that's going to be a challenge to do solo.
