Hydro Thunder' is a monster storm of Citra and Simcoe hops that we brewed with our friends from Twin Sails Brewing from Port Moody, B.C. This hugely flavourful Double Dry-Hopped Double IPA shows off a thunderous amount the best tropical fruit and citrus flavours.

Intense fruity citrus and pineapple. Murky yellow with a small head and chunks. Bright citrus and pineapple and along bitter finish. Decent.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with dank hops, lots of yeast soup, and chalk. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of yeast soup, chalky notes, pithy stone fruits, and some bitter dank hops. Too yeasty. Not good.

Gross mud appearance, albeit with a thick head. Sort of a vague hop nose. Really bitter. Messy harsh alcohol. Slurry in a bad way.

Draught at Darby's Kitsilano, Vancouver
Cloudy to murky blond colour. It's very juicy, with crisp malt base, mild sweetness, and low bitterness; the fruit is sweet orange with a touch of mango and tropical fruit. Bit of piney resins in the finish.
Very good.
