Bottled. Black colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, some liquorice, chocolate and mild alcohol, Flavour is liquorice, roasted malts, some slight alcohol with dried fruits and mild spiciness. Clean and classy imperial stout which has been fermented quite dry.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, beige head. Sweet roast nose with both licorice and sweet chocolate. Solid body, again roast and licorice with a hint of smoky malts. Malt biter finish. A solid, classic take on an Imperial Stout. 130220

330ml bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. Spotty lacing from a stable tan-coloured head. Deep black body. Good looking, indeed. Smell of earth and grainy chocolate, lightly roasted. Mid-sweet choco-coffee flavours followed by a lingering malty ending, warm and smooth. Nice sipper qualities. (Rating session with Finn, lmojoh and djoeye, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 03.12.2019).

Smell of vanilla, coffee, tar. Black colour, dark brown head. Aroma of oak, vanilla, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Bitter, sweet. Slightly watery palate, otherwise nicely balanced.

0,33l bottle from Alko. Black beer with medium- head. Aroma has licorice, coffee and roasted malts with chocolate. Taste has roasted malts, coffee and licorice with some dried fruits at the end. Almost full body, low carbonation. Drinkable, good body, nice brew once again from Malmgård.
