A tart blend of barrel-fermented wild ale, saison aged for a year in rosé of pinot noir barrels, and acid beer fermented solera-style in a large-format foeder. Bottle- and keg-conditioned with hibiscus and rose hips.

Hazy light pink. Thin head. There’s a light bretty, leathery. On the palate, light fruitiness, decent tartness, subtle berry and flower accents. Not bad – has a nice liveliness, and a good complexity. Solid brew, good balance on this.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out wild yeast, with hibiscus, rose notes, and some oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with hibiscus, rose flowers, and a touch of oak. Not overly complex, but it works.

750ml bottle at Erik's. Appearance: a bit hazy pale copper with a white head Aroma: funky with fruity notes Taste: same with barrel notes, maybe a bit too woody Overall: good

Tasting at Erik's
Cloudy orange colour. Sharp acidity, smooth mouthfeel, there are two mild characters, hibiscus and wine.
Good without being complicated.

Woody and earthy with all. Touch of soured fruit. Cloudy orange with a decent white head. Soured orange and some light acidity and a light orange finish.
