Has a mellow chocolatey nose, and quite nutty. Actually a fairly light body, with simple coffee, nutty notes. Probably too thin in the finish for my taste, but I think the low bitterness is the thing I dislike, as it messes with my sense of balance.

32oz crowler (thx, Sonnet!) at Erik's. Appearance: dark brown Aroma: roasted malt with some fruity notes, some roasted seeds Taste: similar Overall: simple, but pretty good

Black colour. Delicate chocolate and roasted malt character, harmonious, fresh.

Roasty dark notes. Jet black brown with a small beige head. Roasty and some toast.

On tap at Cloudburst, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out hearty oats upfront, with a touch of earthiness. Flavour is really hearty, with lots of oats, medium roast and a touch of earthiness. Beautifully balanced with a deep drinkability. Excellent.
