Draught at the brewery
Dark amber colour, hazy. Moderately malty, moderately sweet; but the yeast has a bit of that bubblegum character found in American Dubbels.
Good beer.

Light raisin and some grains. Cloudy Amber with a small white head. Raisin and some date with a malty caramel finish. Basics are there but not much complexity.

Hazy, medium brown, thin head. A fair bit of bubblegum on the aroma, with light toffee notes. Ok body, touch sticky, and a hint of that bubblegum, versus some plastic notes.

On tap at Moody, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, toasted nuts and Belgian yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with dark dried fruits, light caramel and bready notes. Subtle notice of the Belgian yeast. Not really authentic, but it's not bad.
