Poured from cask (about 1 week old according to bartender). Cloudy amber orange with small white head. Bready malt, grain, hint of caramel. Everything is quite subdued, pretty boring.

Cask. Dully, hazy, a lot paler than red, with a thin head. Has a harsh husky note, burnt electric wire. Yeah, no. That's a flaw that should not make it to the public.

Cask at the brewery
hazy dull amber colour. Smell of apples. No carbonation, soft mouthfeel, light bready malts, apples again.
Something's wrong.

Cask at the brewery. Aroma is only a little grain and malt, but very faint. has a semi-cloudy copper body and only a hint of foam. Flavour is soft orange grains and hints of sugar. Mouthfeel is soft and a bit wet. It's okay though uninteresting and unintrusive, but maybe that's what they want.
