On tap at Ashley's Westland. Aroma of strong sweet cocoa and red grape. Flavor has sweet milk chocolate, cocoa powder, molasses, and red grape. Quite sweet and delicious.

Tasting at Matt's
Black colour, almost no head. Strong aroma of roasted peanuts, chocolate, bourbon. Full bodied, sweet, with strong cinnamon and tobacco character on top of the dark chocolate.
Excellent.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with cinnamon and cocoa upfront, with subtle bourbon barrels and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is very Mexican in the spiciness, with chocolate and cinnamon upfront, accentuated by some gorgeous bourbon barrels and a touch of vanilla. Really like the cinnamon and bourbon here. Excellent.

750 ml bottle into snifter; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours dense nearly opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy tan head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Noticeable cinnamon flakes floating around, but still impressive head retention. Aromas of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, marshmallow, molasses, toffee, fudge, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark bread; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, coconut, pepper, dark fruits, and roast/toast/oaky earthiness. Some increasing booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and bourbon barrel notes; with big strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, marshmallow, molasses, toffee, fudge, bourbon, toasted oak, and dark bread; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, coconut, pepper, dark fruits, and roast/toast/oaky earthiness. Light roast/char bitterness and cinnamon/bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, marshmallow, molasses, toffee, fudge, bourbon, toasted oak, dark bread, coconut, light smoke/char/molasses, and roast/toast/oaky earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and bourbon barrel flavors; with an awesome roasted bitter/sweet and cinnamon/bourbon/oak spiciness balance; with zero cloying sweetness or acrid/astringent roast/oak flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from roast/char bitterness, cinnamon spice, and oak tannins. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slightly slick, sticky, chalky, and tannic. Alcohol is well hidden; a mildly increasing warmth of 12%, with minimal barrel booziness lingering after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic barrel aged spiced imperial stout! all around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and bourbon barrel flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the big ABV. Super rich and decadent malt complexity; with perfectly integrated/balanced bourbon barrels and spice flavors. I was afraid this would be really spice heavy as the BBA Imperial Mayan is when fresh, but glad to see that it's not. A highly enjoyable offering.
