An oatmeal milk stout brewed with lactose, golden naked oats and a whole lot of chocolate cookies. That's right, cookies. Notes of oatmeal and raisin, double chocolate chip and double stuffed cookies, really this is as close as you can get to a cookie without it actually being a cookie. Cookie cookie cookie... have you had enough yet ?

473ml can. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, light brown head that leaves curtains of lace. Bittersweet aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, lactose, vanilla, oats and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted grainy malt, lactose, dark chocolate, caramel, oats, vanilla and day old coffee in a dry, metallic finish. Medium body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Ok, goes down easy.

Can at Weathered, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lactose, and medium toasted malt. Flavour brings out light lactose, oats, and medium toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, tasting like Oreos. Cookies in a drink. Fun beer.

Can, Legacy. Almost black. Thin head. On the nose, it's kind of funny. There's chocolate, which makes sense, but there's something else I can't put my finger on, but that doesn't make sense. On the palate, there's a definite vanilla-lactose note, light sweet milk chocolate, so it hits the theme reasonably well. Medium body. Decent, maybe a bit thin in the finish.
