Spice and dark fruit with roast. Deep brown with a decent beige head. Roast and toffee with some sweetness. Not particularly pleasing.

Dark brown, not good, some off stuff, meh, light chocolate. Something's missing here - at some point I'd like to re-rate it, actually, just to get a better sense.

Bottle at Black Christmas 2017
Black color, generous head. Earthy aroma, scrotum, foot. Lean mouthfeel, quite good malt base, a bit earthy, but the alcohol is also too evident.
Not bad, but messy.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small white head. Aroma is boozy, with light toasted malt and alcohol. Flavour is boozy and messy, with lots of alcohol and toasted malt. Messy and uncoordinated. Shit.

Good in the scope of all beers, but nor great for the style. Should be much more body for the alcohol content, which is very warming a powerful.
