Slight haze, thin head. On the nose, slightly earthy hops and pear esters. Husky malts, the body is thin, bitterness isn’t high but it comes across as harsh without the right malt balance.

On cask at Callister, pours a clear pale yellow blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out stale bready malt and some straw. Flavour is flat and lifeless, with stale English bready malt and unpleasant astringent. Marginally better than the Real Cask crap that this replaced, but that's not saying much, is it?

Soft grains and bread. Clearish gold with a rich white head. Vegetal and some light grains with a touch of spice.

Slightly cloudy copper liquid with no discernable foam. Smells of pennies dipped in a soft lemon juice. Flavour is a bright maltiness with sharp brown sugar hints and a reasonably dry finish. Okay overall but more or less a nondescript homebrew kind of beer.
