Draught at the brewery
Dark mahogany colour, clean, with beige head. Mild notes of caramel, and very light nuts, low bitterness, and light body. No depth, but it will appeal to casual drinkers looking for dark beers. Clean.

On tap at Mariner, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts, light caramel and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt, toasted nuts and a hint of spicy caramel. Light and thin, but pleasant enough.t

Sweet raisin and spice. Clear Amber witha decent beige head. Ginger and malty with a sweetness. Not my thing.

On tap. Has a good deep malty grain aroma, nice foam on top of a brown red body. Flavour is nice crisp roasted malts. Dry finish. This is good and refreshing, well done.

Can. Clear, and light brown. On the nose and palate, this is nutty, with a healthy dark malt character. The body is medium, which is a good place for a brown ale. Mellow bitterness provides sufficient balance. On paper, it's a neutral brown ale, but it's actually one of the better ones around town these days.
