Starts out like a pretty regular Tripel, but the sour notes in the flavour puts this one a nodge above average for the style. You wouldn’t say this is a 9% brew. Not bad.

Bottled 330ml (Bierkoning, Amsterdam)
Golden, a bit cloudy colour, small white head. Fruity, a bit spicey aroma, touch of green apple. Light-bodied. Light fruityness, typical tripel yeast esters, some alcohol. Simple.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Golden coloured with some spicy and caramel taste. This could’t be better than you got an great one.
Actually a pretty good version. Clean smooth and a bit pillowy. Yet it has nice classic influence. Bierkonig ams

Donkergeel bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitterzoet en warm met iets van bloemen en wat vanille en honing. Helaas overheerst de alcohol iets te veel en is er te weinig aandacht voor de andere smaken.

Not the greatest tripel that can be found, very boring and slightly metallic, very little character, malty and medium sweet.

Bottle@home. Color is golden with a white head with fairly good retention. Aromas of banana, hop and flowers. Medium sized body, some caramel. Long finish, a wee bit of alcohol burn, though.
