Can from CBC Liquors, Westford. Opaque dark brown with quickly dissipating thin cap of head, light sparkle and viscosity, no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet malts, brown bread, light dark fruit and mild bourbon. Taste is strong molasses, sweet malt, bourbon. Smooth, silky texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation, finish as taste, hint of alcohol.

16 ounce can. Jet black pour. Creamy tan cap. Aroma of roasted malt, oak and bourbon. Flavor is intense, bittersweet roasted malt. Notes of espresso, dark chocolate, oak and bourbon. Pretty smooth with notes of warming alcohol in the tasty finish.

Draft at Harvest. Pours a clear chestnut brown with a finger of beige foam that dissipates quickly. Oak, smoke and dark chocolate on the nose. Palate is very similar with some bittering hops, roast and smoke. Light caramel chocolate notes and smoke on the finish.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2022. Pours a clear deep brown with a brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice barrel and dark grain note with roasted malts supporting. Flavor is barrel forward with dark grains, roasted malts and a hint of coffee backing.

On tap at Liquor Barn Middletown Commons. Black with small beige head. Aroma is nice bourbon, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is nice bourbon, dark chocolate, and booze.
