Bottle. Pours black with beige head. Nose is sweet, there’s malts and booze with some cocoa, earthy notes and huge coffee. Taste is coffee, earthy notes, sweet booze, super rich. Medium to heavy, oily body, soft carbo. Tasty.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, tobacco, sugar, chocolate, some coffee, charcoal, syrup, liquorice, candied figs, touch of molasses. Flavour is quite sweet with an above moderate bitter finish. Body is above medium. Quite sweet and a bit syrupy, could be more full, then the chocolate kicks in. Nice!

Bortimot svart med beige skum. Lukter sjokolade, røstet malt. Fyldig og sterk. Kjenner alkoholsmaken godt. Ellers sjokolade, kaffe og brent karamellmalt.

Virtually black with a beige head. Chocolate aroma, burnt grains. Taste is bitter and just a touch vinous. Body to the full side of medium, mild carbonation. Good.

Bottle from Bierbazaar. Dark brown/black colour. Nose of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some sweetness. Very well balanced. Nice porter!

Bottle from RAD. Almost black colour with a thin head. Aroma and taste roasted malty coffee light bitter to sweet. Full body.

330ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a medium head. Aroma is smoky, beefy roast and liquorice. Taste has smoke and roast throughout with some liquorice on the finish.

Sort with a minimal light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, and dark berries. Light sweet with a good roasted malt, coffee and caramel end. Medium bodied, not bad.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with slight ruby glimmer and average, thick, firm, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, raisin, plum, some liquorice. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty dark malty, yeasty fruity, notes of dark chocolate, raisin, sultana, hints of plum, a touch of liquorice root, some alcohol. Full body, viscous texture, slightly cloying palate. A bit arduous drinking to overcome this.
