Draft - Earthy hops and caramel malts. Clear copper with a decent white head. Woody and earthy with a bitter finish.

Looks good. Deep red- brown colour, with a thin head. Earthy, caramelly aroma - could stand to be more expressive. Sweetish. Nice toastiness. Not surprised the aromatics are low using wet hops in this type of beer, but it has a good, easy-going bitterness. If they were aiming for more hop they’d have needed to use two or three times the amount. Wonderfully balanced, one of the better red ales I’ve had from BC.

Poor effort for a fresh hop beer. Hops are very subdued, palate is mostly sweet malt, with some light hop bitterness in finish

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark amber color. A beer with a mild caramel character (this is already not a convincing strategy when targeting a hop profile), mild roastiness, lightly earthy, very moderate sweetness, correct bitterness, and not a grain of hop character/quality.
A decent beer, but makes you wonder what the brewer was thinking here.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is restrained, with piney hops, some resins, and a dry toasted malt backbone. Piney and dry on the finish. Not terribly interesting, but it's decent.
