A classic British beer characterized by low alcohol content and a smooth, creamy texture. Abbey Lane English Mild carries the mild flavours of caramel, toffee and roasted nuts. With enough hop character to offset the maltiness, Abbey Lane finishes clean and dry.

Dark brown, with a big head. On the nose, big phenols...yikes. I mean there is some toffee sugars and a bit of nuttiness. But that's a big dominant whack of up front phenols. On the palate, the phenosl are still getting in the way. Just not happening. Yikes. I mean, there's a beer under there, but yeah, infected.

Can - This is infected. Soy sauce on the nose. Dark brown with a beige head. Soy sauce and a effervescent note. This is not as intended.

473mL can, pours a deep dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma is loaded with phenolic notes, with tons of burnt rubber - yeuch. Flavour is no less unpleasant, with burnt rubber - this is a pure phenol bomb. Nasty.

On tap. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate and nuts. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, molasses, dark chocolate, nuts and light ash in a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Full of flavour despite the low ABV.
