Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich, dark malts, oak, minerals, bourbon, cocoa, bark, weeds, coffee, caramel. Taste is rich and boozy, dark malts, bourbon, chocolate, minerals, bark, oak, weeds, booze, cocoa, coffee, grass, licorice, hay, caramel. Medium bitterness, dry boozy mouthfeel. A bit too boozy, but nice.

Tap, mbcc, yellow. Pours near black with a thin white head. Whisky malty aroma, some tobacco, some chocolate. Flavor has nice heavy malts, booze kick, rye and whisky. Quite straightforward but does its job. Heavy.

Bottle pour at ACBF2017, courtesy of Dutch Untappd crew (thanks!). Pours dark brown with brown head. Roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, dark fruit, bourbon. Sweet. Oily. Complex. Quite warming, some alcohol is present, but I guess that’s expected. Full bodied. 8/4/9/4/18 Bottle 375 ml. Shared with MiroB, Luka, Hrvoje and kajser27. Vintage 2020. Black with beige head. Bottle shared at the March THT at Kwartje. Very dark mahogany pour with no head. Notes of bourbon, caramel, toffee, roasted malts, light coffee and a ton of alcohol. Smooth texture, really nice flavours, but the alcohol is just too much.

Sampled from bottle at THT March at Kwartje. Courtesy of mariuspoenari, thanks! Black with no head. Big sweet roasted chocolate malts. Marzipan. Alcoholic as fk. Dried dark fruits. Crushed human skulls. I dont know. A different level of aromas cause of the alcohol. Bittersweet finish. The hell. It’s nice, but I dislike how strong it is. The.END.is.Near.

Bottle shared at THT. Black with small dark beige head. Marzipan, toffee, sweet chocolate, very strong hot alcohol, fudge, raisins, figs, brown sugar. Quite sweet and alcoholic bitterness. Over medium bodied. Nice but crazy alcoholic. Why do they put this in big bottles like this? You’d need like 10 people at least to properly share it.

Bottleshare: pours black with a small head. Aroma is molasses, liqueur, toffee, chocolate, cake. Taste is quite sweet with light hoppiness over at the end. High complexity. Very large. Boozy aftertaste. Grows hair on your chin.

Bottle, shared at a tasting in Tokyo on 1/8/17. 2016 issue. Color is very dark, but not quite black/opaque. Off white head, not much. Aroma’s: berries, sweetish, alcohol, whiskey. Retronasal it’s sweetish, alcohol, molasses. Flavor is moderate to full sweet, alcohol. Strong alcohol feel obviously, but not overly so. Medium to full bodied (I would have expected it to be syruppy, but no). Finishes with some roast and some bitterness. Didn’t quite live up to the expectations, but I heard this issue is not the best. Hopefully my 2012 and 2014 bottles are better.
