Draft - Dark roast and chocolate with some dark berry. Jet black with a small white head. Chocolate, bitterness, dark fruit and a nice long finish.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy brown head. Minimal lacing. Scents include caramel, cocoa and Melliods cough drops. First swig was a little watery but delicious nonetheless. Flavours of caramel, burnt toast and dark cocoa. Finish is nice and burnt with a little hop bitterness lingering.

Bottle from the brewery. Pitch black pour under a one finer slow fading mocha head. Nose has tons of roast coffee, nuts, dark chocolate and some notes of vanilla and flowers. Light molasses sweetness supports a much bigger coffee and chocolate bitterness with definite nuttiness. Mouth is full and creamy with soft carbonation and nice dry finish. Great smooth stout with a big bitter profile. 8+4/7+/4-/16
