Light amber, bit of chill haze, thin head.  Quite sticky.  Some decent biscuity malt notes underneath that wall of sugar, I assume the result of the bag of Weyermann Vienna malt I’m looking at.  But different yeast, more hop, and going all-in on the Weyermann would make for a much, much better Vienna.

On tap at Sooke, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out slightly sweet bready malt and straw. Flavour is rather perfumey, with some paint thinner, earthy malt, and straw. Something seems a bit off here. Needs work.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is malty biscuity sweet cracker. Has okay foam sitting on top of a deeper clear gold. Flavour is good grain backed by vague flor hoppiness. It's good on the mouth though a little sweet. Likeable brew though not too interesting.

Draft - Light grains with a bit of a dirty note. Clear gold with a decent white head. Grain with a crisp dry finish. Solid although not as dark as a Vienna.
