Arthur (1922-2005) was our grandfather’s youngest brother; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to him and his 13 siblings. In his honor, this Farmstead® ale is crafted from American malted barley, American and European hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Arthur.

0,15l from tap at Arrogant Sour Festival. Yellow cloudy colour, small white head. Smells earthy, spices, peppery, bretty, fruity, flowery, nice smell. Medium to full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes earthy, citric, peppery, grassy, flowery, spices. Finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of spices, earthy and citric notes. Very nice one. Loved the taste more than the smell. Great balance 7, 4, 8, 4, 16

Draft. Light golden/yellow body. Short, frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of lemon, sour apple, toasted grain, some band aid and mustiness. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and moderately acidic. It finishes lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of sour apple, lemon, tropical fruit, light wood. Tartness throughout. Hard to fault this, but also fairly straightforward — a tart beer that's a nice sipper. Well made but lacking a wow factor in both funkiness or nuance.

Draught @ City Hops. Cloudy golden with frothy small whitish head, acidic aroma, high carbonation, medium tart taste with fruity flavor, smooth body, long medium sour finish. Very smooth, and more sour than saison to me.

On tap at Warpigs, Copenhagen. Pours lightly hazed very pale golden with a loose white top. Aroma: sweet malts, floral, elderflower, light spices, grassy. Taste: light sweet, fresh & clean, yeasty, spices, lemon peel, light funk, minerals. Light body, soft carb, crisp mouthfeel, light flowery finish. Lovely!

Tap, 250mml. Tasted.on the 08/05/2018 @«Mikkeller Viktoriagade». Cloudy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of brett, lemon and other citrus, funk and mineral. Taste is sooo good, full of yeast, spuces and pepper. Finish is mineral and floral. Very well integrated. Lovely. Next one please!!!
