Oxford Tasting, bottle
Black colour. Good blend of roasted malts, vinous character, acidity, fruits. I wish it were bolder and sweeter.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out very subtle port barrels, with a touch of pithy blackberries, and a touch of toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with port barrels, light oak, and light blackberry. The flavours are very mellow and lacking oomph. Dull and lacking dynamics.

Dark brown, thin head. There's a touch of berries, some mellow chocolate notes. This has a nice chocolate note, and a hint of berries. This isn't bad - not my type of beer, but it's decent.

Taster at the brewery with Farees and Brian during Zwanze Day. Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is very fruity with lots of port and some roasted malt notes. Similar taste. Pretty nice for a 5% stout.
