Crowler at Erik's
Dark brown colour with no head. Mild aroma of dark malt and chocolate. Lean body, the alcohol is evident, but maybe more sweetness and body would be expected to balance the alcohol; some chocolate, and light fruit acidity.
Ok beer.

Can at Erik's. Pours a dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is strawberry and roasted malt. Taste is very thick with light strawberry and a lot of chocolate notes. Very nice.

Crowler - Dark chocolate and strawberry. Jet dark brown with a small beige head. Chocolate and strawberries. Decadent and as usual just as described.

On tap at Great Notion, pours black with a small light brown head. Nose is loaded with fresh strawberries upfront, followed by loads of chocolate. Flavour is intense, with fresh strawberries upfront, again followed by dark chocolate, and alcohol. Fairly sweet and boozy, but it works well. Excellent.

On tap at the brewery pours out a thick rich black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet strawberries milk chocolate some vanilla. Taste is more of the nice berries chocolate some light ash and plenty sweetness.
