An arabier is a pure malt beer 8°vol/alc brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness is declining with the time. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C. Cheers!

For a style I love, this one is just far too bitter for me, and finishes very dry, so I don’t love the balance with the high abv burn as well. just a month before expiry, i would like to try a fresher bottle. online belgian beer factory.(3.3 Mar 2019) Got a bottle 8 months before expiring. It’s better, still bitter, but balanced and lively fresh.

33cl bottle. Pours golden with a very lively white head. Aroma of yeast. spices, dried fruits, citrus. Taste is the same, initially sweet and spicy, yeast, malts, dried fruits, citrusy finish with very strong hop bitterness. Soft foamy mouthfeel, carbonation far too lively.

It's a gushet. Hazy orange amber, topped with huge and lasting white head. Nice dry fruits, caramel, some vanilla and woodiness and a hint of booziness in the aroma. More alcohol in the taste, a bit too much. Somewhat yeasty, though not too excessive with some moderate spicess. Medium bitterness. Very sparkly texture. Medium body.

Fles thuis gedeeld met Roelzie en Jeroen. Het is een troubel amberkleurig bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een fruitige geur. De smaak is fruitig en wat hoppig.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy yellow with a lasting, frothy, white head. Aroma of yeast, apple peel, pear, mandarin peel, breadcrust, white pepper, clove. Taste has sweetish apple & pear, quite some yeast in a bready malty profile, spicy & early hoppy bitter middle with a zesty freshness. Earthy-grassy hoppy finish, lingering spices, dry yeast, yellow fruit & warming gin-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Enjoyable Belgian classic, the 'pure' yeast is a bit too apparent though. Original rating: 8/4/8/4/16=4.0. At 't Poatersgat, Bruges. Shared with Anke!
