Bottle 33cl. w. swing top @ home.[ Trade by MiP ]. Clear light to medium amber brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, roasted, caramel, malty, nutty light notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081108]

Bottle. Almond aroma. Chestnut, creamy brown head. Light roast, nuts, almonds, herbal hop balance. Medium to light body, mellow mouthfeel. Christmas cookie aftertaste.

Swing-top bottle. Chocolate-toffee malt aroma. Medium brown color with minimal head. Toffee and barley malt flavor with mild grassy hops finish.

Bottle, 4.8%. Weak buttery aroma. Nice clear dark brown colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is roasted, hint of bread, barley bitterness and soy.

RB DE#900: 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden brown with an orange glare with a slowly collapsing white head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Flavour is mild breadish and light spiced hoppy. Holds a light fruity accent to this. Ends medium bitter and dry.

Bottled. Clear nut brown, small head. Fruity and lightly roasty.Medium sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A bit limp and edgy.

Beim Trinken fällt natürlich das Malzaroma am meisten ins Gewicht, dann erinnert der Geschmack mich an irgend etwas...es schmeckt irgendwie nach Salzstangen finde ich, ja das trifft es. Leicht malzig, meistens recht süß und im Abgang etwas herb. Das Bier an sich geht in Ordnung, aber dass mich das Ganze an Salzstangen erinnert stört mich schon etwas. (Bottle 33 cl) Very pretty, clear deep brown with an orangey tint and a creamy, beige head. Very malty flavour with notes of caramel, and a slightly burned touch. Sweetish but neatly balanced. A wellmade and very harmonious beer. 230601

(swing top bottle) Dark amber colour with a foamy tanned medium head. Toasted malts aroma with caramel. Medium bodied, malty taste and a dry hoppy finish with hints of mince. Not a great but ok Landbier.

Dark amber coloured, thin long lasting layer; light malty and musty nose, traces of hops and alcohol; shy malty start, light sweet flavour; only weak malty-bitter aftertaste, a bit metallic; kind of a coloured, bland Pils.....
