A classic rendition of a Belgian wit, The White Lodge is brewed with a large portion of wheat along with pilsner malt and oats. We use coriander and orange peel in the kettle, lending a blend of citrus and floral characters, and ferment with a traditional Belgian strain.

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite dry, with coriander upfront, with some citrus and wheat. Flavour is smooth and dry, with coriander upfront, a little citrus and toasted biscuity malt. Nicely constructed, with a lightly spicy finish. Solid.

Draft pour at special brews. Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with no head. Very mild grassy aroma with some sour lemon. Flavor is lighter in body with some mild lemon and orange peel. Hints of spice as well, and has a cool lemon mint finish. Tasty and very easy to drink. Enjoyable beer here.

Draft at brewery. Pale pale yellow color. No lacing, head dies, looks dead. Coriander and lemon rind aroma. A little effervescent and tart lemon. Flavor is similar, reduced coriander, low lemon. Light tart end. Very decent wit. Not overspiced, not estry. Good stuff.
