La Bock (anche Bockbier o Starkbier) è una birra lager particolarmente forte che affonda le sue origini nella città anseatica di Einbeck, in Germania, importante centro di produzione birraria medievale. E’ una birra dalla colorazione ambrata, preparata utilizzando una miscela di malti selezionati che le conferiscono sapori caldi, con note mielate che accarezzano il palato ed aprono la via ad un amaro perfettamente bilanciato, ottenendo così un gusto armonioso e soddisfacente fin dal primo sorso.

Opalescent amber colour, moderate sized yellowish off-white head; aroma of floral honey toffee, cannes apple and pear; taste of syrupy-maltyness honeycomb toffee, fruity notes, and slight raisins; good one!

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 20.01.15. Thanks to JvO for generously donating the bottle and for posting it to Norway. Hazy dark orange. Fairly persistent off-white head. Aroma of sweet orange marmelade and honey. Fruity taste, with sweet malt, caramel and subdued hops. Well balanced and refreshing.

0,75 flaske (til forveksling lik de Kinn bruker), gave til Ovesen fra Italia: lett uklar kobberfarge med gardinskum. Honningaroma med litt humle. Honning utmerket balansert med blomsteraktig humle i smak. Den milde bitterheten i ettersmaken gjør den særdeles lett å helle forbi drøvelen. Frisk og god. Nr. 3 til å rate denne - stilig!
