Aroma of pale malt, hay, grass, light fruit, spicy yeast, hops. Flavour is grassy and yeasty, with a light bitter finish. Palate is a bit thin and watery. Not a success.

Bottle. Golden color. Grassy, slightly herbal aroma with hints of tropical fruit. Pineapple, grapefruit and oily hops in the slightly herbal hopbitter flavor. Thinnish, but tasty.

Had this beer quite some time ago, I actually thought this wasn’t going to be a new entry, so that’s why I never rated it before. Now I just had the 3.9% ABV version and that is a bit too grainy imo, but I remember this version to be quite nice and very well done with plenty of flavors for this low ABV.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay - straw - grass, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass - straw - hay. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, grassy, straw, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130807]

Draught at Rootz, Den Haag
Hazy light amber color with creamy head. Nice aroma, strong presence of cereals, like a mash, with a grassy touch. Good body strength; malt flavor with a delicate spicy touch from the yeast, quite strong bitterness, and a mixed hay/grass character.
Very nice modern Belgian style.

Golden hazy beer that tastes very grassy. Notes of herbs and a dry bitterness. The other xtreem beers are better.

Tap @ Lokaal 9. Hazy orange colour, off-white head. Nose is malty, yeasty, bitter and fruity, fairly hoppy. Flavour is hoppy, malty, some citrus, fairly bitter. Ok stuff.

Draft at Huppel. Pours hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of spice, dried fruit and hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Huge offwhite head. Slightly hazy deep amber body. Oily spicy dried fruit aroma with metallic vaguely funky notes. Dry-sweet mealy resiny fruity taste with spicy wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, slightly flat mouthfeel. Dry spicy resiny dried fruit aftertaste with citric wooden notes. Nice, but a bit rough and edgy. (0.33l draft at Café Gollem, Amsterdam.)
