Tried at the Wild Boar, Warwick. Amber colour with a tan head. Deep fruity aroma. And a sweetish taste.

Cask at the Wild Boar, Warwick. I tasted this ale at the brewery earlier this year, but the slightly more mature version is a big step up. A gorgeous dark mahogany pour with a signature creamy, slightly off white head. A malty aroma, with a lovely smooth roasted malty flavour with surprisingly little bitterness. At 5.2% it's a little stronger than an average English bitter, but there was little evidence of that. Well, not in the taste anyway :-) A truly wonderful session beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Young version sampled at brewery. Clear brown pour with a tan head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Flavor is fruit at first, then some coffee with a lasting bitterness.

(young) sample at the brewery. Decent off-white head. Clear dark pour. Nice porter. Will have to re-review this when I can find it on tap.
