[2018 vintage] On tap at Bottleworks. Pours black with a beige head. Smoky whiskey, roasted malts, and red wine barrels on the nose. Flavour has roasted, bready malts, dry pinot noir barrels, some smoky whiskey. This is fantastic, wonderfully complex and well-integrated.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is loaded with decadent bourbon barrels upfront, with vanilla, bourbon, maple syrup and light cocoa. Flavour is similarly intense, with decadent bourbon barrels, light vanilla, and a touch of caramel. Intensely deep and complex. Just an amazing beer.

Bottle. Medium brown, not much head. On the nose, there's a fair bit of bourbon, vanilla, coffee, maybe a touch of burnt fruits. On the palate, there's some soft dark malts, nice deep rich fruits that are just a touch burnt. Rich and barrelly, with a big bourbon and slight red wine signature. The barley wine seems to lend a little bit of malt complexity while still being lighter than the intense stouts that comprise most of this beer. This is fun - really nice complexity. Really nice - fun stuff.

Enjoyed on draft at Bottleworks. Another solid beer to celebrate the anniversary here. If it werent for the anniversary beers, I probably wouldn't ever.. nevermind. A near black pour. Excellent aroma, dark chocolate, smooth bourbon, hints of cherry? Complex, and beautiful. Flavor is a good amount if whiskey, bold dark chocolate. Dense body, a good amount of booze. Excellent flavor. I really should get a bottle of this. I feel like it would age well. Amazing blend here.

Maybe the best beer of the day. On tap at Dark Arts. Pours a dark brown reddish color with a medium white head. A big sweet boozy nose. Sugary, hot rum, some roast, malty berries, spicy sweet rum. Very complex like a Firestone Walker Anniversary.
