Cask at Guildford Arms. Copper color with white foam. Aroma is citrus, a bit leathery, quite funky even. Taste is citrus, grassy, toffee, all the usual Cask Ale flavours, but in such a great balance. Slick oily mouthfeel. The best Cask Ale I've had in my life so far, the fruit comes together with the light malt character so well!

Clear dark golden to amber colour, moderate sized creamy head; aroma of wet grainy, and slight floral and fruity notes, taste of hoppá bitterness with some biscuity-malta sweetness; good one

Cask at Rose and Thistle, Frimley Green. Vague doughy aroma. Pale gold - surprisingly, at least for me, it's quite hazy. Blotchy white head. After an IPA it seems lacking in flavour - light citrus with a malty backbone. Biscuity. Light-medium bodied but watery. Flat carbonation. Abrupt Finish. Perhaps not at its best. Refreshing enough on the bland side bitter.
