Cask at The Princess of Wales, Blackheath. It actually really really deserves the hype. Gold and hopy and crunchy bitterness. Fantastic bitter. --- Cask at Captain Cooks, Östersund. A classic bitter. Kept at 3.8.

Okay medium clear copper body and modest foam. Sour malt on the nose, tart and unique. Taste is more sour grain, soft biscuit hints, finishing smooth and dry. Quite enjoyable.

Cask at Nellie Dean Pub. Lovely amber pour, small off white head, nose of herbal hops, sweet malts, grass, flavour is the same but combined with a creamy mouthfeel this is a nice drinker.

Cask at Guildford Arms. Copper color with white foam. Aroma is citrus, a bit leathery, quite funky even. Taste is citrus, grassy, toffee, all the usual Cask Ale flavours, but in such a great balance. Slick oily mouthfeel. The best Cask Ale I've had in my life so far, the fruit comes together with the light malt character so well!
