Cask @ Punch Tavern, London. Clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, biscuits and a little bit of tea. Taste of malts, biscuits, some marmelade and caramel. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Soft and almost creamy mouthfeel. A lovely pint. I have to admit though that the bottled version left an even better impression. Will revisit for sure.

More hoppy than your average bitter. It's very nice on cask, much better than when bottled.

Amber pour with a small white head. Aromas of grains, malts, some nuts - same for the taste. Not bad.

On cask at Rose St Brewery, pours a clear copper with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out smooth, soft bready malt with only the tiniest of hop characters. Flavour is super clean but very timid, with soft bready malt, almost no bitterness. If you don't want to taste anything from your cask ales, this is pretty solid. I struggle to understand how this is the UK's top rated bitter. It's fine and certainly drinkable.
